Hey, HODINKEE !: Odd Vs. Although (Lug Widths), Pilot Vs. Field, Mainsprings vs. Time, by Co-Branding Vs. Everyone

Hello everyone, welcome to another section of Hey, HODINKEE! where you ask, and we do our best to respond. Co-founders, as usual, are HODINKEE Editor-in-Chief Jack Forster, and HODINKEE’s deputy editor Nora Taylor as the audience’s voice.

By a Space Jam: Inheritance watches the final competition on the brand?

This time we answer the question a watchmaker might ask: Why do clocks produce clocks of incredible magnitude? One reader wrote to ask what the difference is between a ground watch and a flight clock (it is safe to say that it can be difficult to tell the difference and there is a bit of inclusion). Our technical question for the week concerns the life span of the mainspring, which is the most difficult part of the work of horology, and finally, we answer the question of clocks associated with non-observers – what works, and what ‘t?

We hope, as always, that you enjoy the show! If you would like to see your questions featured in the next section, email us hey@hodinkee.com.
